Between
Florence and Siena there is the delightful Certaldo. This borgo
(fortified village) is an enchanting hill-top site where you can
visit the Museum Boccaccio's House, the famous Decameron's
author.
Not far from the museum you will find the Palazzo Giannozzi,
an odd building with elements of 14th century and the Renaissance,
now housing some interesting crafts workshops
