The objects to
decorate, such as vases, plates, jars, etc., are made of
simple white clay. The clay is coated with coloured
glazes, both polished and opaque, but our craftswomen prefer
use polished glaze.

Patterns
can be original or made to order.
Their glazes are a fine mixture of minerals and clays and
it is very important the fully knowledge of the reaction
to firing, because, oddly, colours are completely opaque
and very different from the final result (see the picture).
Firing is a very delicate phase, the kiln heats up to
960 degrees and, according to the pauses given to the
kiln, the temperature comes up and down to keep object
and glaze intact.

The entire firing
lasts 12 hours.
The high temperature and blending of the white base with colours
produces a chemical reaction: the vitrification and
the ceramics now are bright and shiny.
Isnt it an excellent outcome?
